SoMulan decides to disguised herself as a man to join the army for her father. Hua Mulan has beenhighly respected as a filial model by the Chinese people for hundreds of years, even though itis unknown whether the story has any factual basis. In 1998，her story was adapted into ananimated cartoon by Disney of the United States, and the cartoon was very popular all overthe world.

1.替父從軍:可譯為join the army for her father即可，不必直譯為take the place of her father and join the army。

2.英雄:由于花木蘭是女性，所以最好譯為heroine,而不用hero。

3.不能經(jīng)受奔波勞苦:翻譯為could not bear suffering from the bitterness， 其中“經(jīng)受”用動(dòng)詞bear表達(dá)，“奔波勞苦”用名詞bitterness表達(dá)即可，沒必要字對(duì)字翻譯。

4.把自己?jiǎn)萄b成男子:翻譯為disguise herself as a man,動(dòng)詞disguise意為“喬裝，化妝;偽裝”。

5.深受中國(guó)人的尊敬:翻譯為be highly respected by the Chinese people, 其中highly為副詞，表示“高度地，極其，非常”。

6.改編成了:翻譯為be adapted into。
